A different stampede

In one configuration referred to as a "stampede" [1], the upper body of the Jungle Master Megazord (essentially, the Gorilla) attached to the Rhino Steel Zord, while the Wolf rode up front and the Penguin and Antelope rode beside them [2]. (Of note, the term "stampede" was also used to describe all eleven Zords running together [3].)

The "Jungle Pride Charge" was a variation of the above "stampede," but with the Gorilla, Penguin, and Antelope replaced with the Tiger, Cheetah, and Jaguar [1]. In an unnamed variation of this formation, the Lion Zord attached to the Wolf Pride's chest and shoulders, while the Chameleon latched onto its left forearm [2].

Q&A

Should "Jungle Master" be one or two words?

The toy line had it as two words.

What was the Jungle Master Stampede?

"Jungle Master Stampede" is a name used on some fansites to describe the first "stampede" formation described above. The name isn't especially inaccurate, insofar as the components of the Jungle Master Megazord were involved in the formation; it also parallels the "Jungle Pride Charge," which included components of the Jungle Pride Megazord. Nonetheless, the name "Jungle Master Stampede" wasn't actually used in-show.

Could the Wolf Pride Megazord combine with all of the auxiliary Zords?

It combined with the Bat Zord on one occasion [1]. (Note that any number of Zord combinations possible with the toys weren't featured in-show.)

Could the Jungle Fury Zords operate without Rangers? Could the Megazords operate without a full team?

In general, the Zords were only generated and piloted by their respective Rangers [1], though all could apparently operate independently once summoned [2].

[2] Way of the Master, Arise the Crystal Eyes, The Spirit of Kindness, Race to the Nexus, et al.

Note the following exceptions:
  • Whenever the Elephant, Bat, and/or Shark Zords were needed, the full team (whoever was present in the Megazord at the time) performed the summoning(s) together [1].
  • On many occasions when R.J. called on the Wolf Pride Megazord, the Tiger and Jaguar appeared to emerge from the Wolf (both of them initially colored purple!) [2].

[2] No "I" in Leader, et al.

The Megazords were usually piloted by all pertinent Rangers at once (with the three Rangers always in Jungle Master Mode when piloting the Jungle Master Megazord [1]), with the following exceptions:
  • R.J. regularly formed and piloted the Wolf Pride Megazord alone [2]. (For its first formation, however, R.J. joined Casey and Theo in the cockpit as Lily sat off to the side [3].)
  • Jungle Master was once formed and piloted without Theo [4]. Theo and R.J. once piloted the Wolf Pride Bat alone [4].
  • All five Rangers once piloted Jungle Master Bat [5].
  • The five Rangers rode together in a cockpit (Gorilla's?) during the [Jungle Master] Stampede (or Jungle Pride Charge) [6]. Jarrod and Camille once joined in while their Zords were present [7].

Were the Jungle Fury Zords sentient?

There's no evidence to suggest they were, even notwithstanding that they were referred to as "animal spirits" [1]. Though they could apparently act independently, they never displayed independent initiative or communicative intent.
